Established in 1989, initially as a plumbing company, William Kennedy has grown dramatically and now offers a range of ‘All Trade’ services including plumbing, joinery, heating and roofing, as well as kitchen, bathroom and heating design.
Whilst excelling in their trades and building a strong brand through word of mouth, William Kennedy felt as though they were missing a trick. In March 2019, they approached Microtech to take control of and revamp their marketing.
To kick-off the marketing support we conducted an in-depth analysis of William Kennedy’s business, competitors and target market, and used this information to compile a marketing plan with SMART objectives and action steps. We also updated their existing Facebook page, and set up Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, steadily building the follower count each month by creating and scheduling interesting content.
In only a 3-month period, William Kennedy have seen a 41% growth in Facebook likes, and their average post impressions increase from 270 to over 675, a huge 150%. This has allowed them to reach a whole range of potential new customers. The number of visitors to www.william-kennedy.co.uk has also increased by over 150%, with visitors staying on the site longer and viewing more pages.
