Microtech are delighted to be an integral part of NHS England’s Innovation for Healthcare Inequalities Programme (InHIP) that launched in Hampshire last Thursday.
This pioneering project aims to address local healthcare inequalities experienced by deprived and other under-served populations.
Working alongside project teams comprising clinical and non-clinical expertise from Hampshire & IOW ICB, Health Innovation Wessex, Horizon Wellbeing and Hampshire County Council, we are bringing support to local communities using the Microtech CommunityPod.
Not only will this give patients access to the latest health technologies, but they will also be able to check their Blood Pressure and BMI. To support independent behaviour change, patients will be signposted via QR codes to follow up healthcare and advice services from Smoke Free Hampshire, Rethink Your Drink and Weight Management Hampshire.
