We are delighted to announce that Microtech Group are supporting the Ayrshire Hospice as Corporate Pioneers on the Capital Build Project.
Ayrshire Hospice is embarking upon an ambitious project to redevelop their beloved site in Ayr.
The project has an overall target of £13 million. £6.7 million of the funding has already been secured but the hospice now needs support from the whole of the Ayrshire community to complete funding.
What is involved in the development?
The brand-new In-Patient Unit will comprise 18 single en-suite rooms designed to create more natural light and will have space for loved ones to visit and stay overnight.
The rooms will also include private patios enabling bed access outside and will be suitable for all weathers.
There will also be two patient and family respite rooms, clinical and community nursing hubs, a contemplation space, as well as a dedicated playroom for children and a separate teen space for young people who are visiting their family at the Hospice.
Ayrshire Hospice provides vital support to patients and our community, relying predominantly on support from the people of Ayrshire.
In order for Ayrshire Hospice to reach their £250,000 crowdfunding target, funds must be raised from Corporate and Community Pioneers.
Microtech Group are thrilled to be Corporate Pioneers for the campaign and are proud to be involved in the support of such a significant and monumental project.
In addition to the crowdfunding, Ayrshire Hospice has been working with space launch experts who are sending a bespoke time capsule, containing a piece of the original Hospice into space! Upon its return to earth, the capsule will be displayed inside the new hospice.
The Capital Build Project is an inspirational campaign that the hospice imperatively need help with. For every £1 donated from the Ayrshire community, another £1 will be donated from the Corporate Pioneers’ matched giving fund.
By becoming an Ayrshire Hospice Corporate Pioneer, you will be supporting people with life limiting illnesses, across the whole of Ayrshire, and their families.
